Dr.Sinclair was a huge influence in my life. He was our family doctor for many years and took great care of all of us. He supported my fundraising efforts for Ducks Unlimited, he gave the speech to the bride at ny wedding after my dad passed. He and Marge were so involved in the Aylmer Swimming Pool and the swim and diving teams. We all grew up together. He went to school with my mom and was there with us as she passed. Having been friends on Facebook with him, he was always sharing environmental wonders and spectacular photos and kind memes. I will miss him greatly. Our sympathies to Marg, Kathy, Duncan and Janie! He will definitely be greatly missed as he impacted so many lives.
I am grateful to be one of those lives.

Marg, Jane, Duncan, Cathy and family,
My sincere condolences for the loss of such a kind and compassionate man. Dad and I were talking about him the other day and Dad had lots of stories about growing up in Aylmer together, playing sports and of course how he trusted Dunc's opinion above anyone else's when it came the our family's health. Dunc ALWAYS took the time to listen and provide wise advice without judgement or criticism. Hopefully the example that Dunc set will inspire others to carry on his legacy of making a positive impact on the local community, the environment and family.
Warmly,

You are right Dr.Zajac. His dad delivered my mom at home in 1934, made house visits to my grandmother and he was also my mother doctor up to he retired and trusted every word he said and regretted the day he retired. He had a way of making you feel at ease and reassured. He went over and above way past normal retirement to make sure his town was not left without a doctor . He was always with good humour and usually a tap of his folder on the way out. Generations of families were under his care

When Dr. Sinclair came to STEGH I was a student nurse. I liked and respected him right from the start. When Jm & I married in 1966, I sought out Dunc to be our family doctor. He accepted us and oh, how lucky we were. He was always kind, and supportive, and with his skills, we got the best of care. On behalf of Dunc's Ducks Unlimited fellow volunteers here in Ontario, I would like to offer our deepest sympathies to the Sinclair family. Dunc was truly an inspiration to all of us who are dedicated, as he was, to conserving, preserving and protecting wetlands throughout Ontario and all of North America. As many of us in the DU fundraising community know, it because of his efforts, along with the help of his good friends, Herb Kebbel and the late Hazard Campbell, that Ducks Unlimited's community based fundraising program came to Ontario in 1974. This legacy continues throughout the country today in the hundreds of DUC fundraising events held across Canada. We are all so grateful for Dunc's leadership and friendship throughout the many years he served as a volunteer with DUC.

Dear Marg and family,
There are no words to express how profoundly sad my entire family is upon learning of Dunc's passing. Since moving into Aylmer in 1978 we were blessed to be the recipients of his professional care and expertise as well as his kindness and genuine interest in our lives. That loving care even extended to my Australian daughter-in-law while on a visit to Canada. Dunc was always there for us, as he was for everyone. His involvement in the community and Ducks Unlimited is to be commended and I thank God that he was able to be at the Annual Banquet just a few weeks ago to receive the accolades and recognition he so much deserved. Aylmer, and the world, has lost a treasure. Your loss, is immeasurable. We hold all of you in our hearts as we picture him up there sitting in a boat under a bluebird sky with that beautiful smile, a stethoscope around his neck, landing the biggest bass he ever did see. Since hearing of his passing each one of the Pearce’s have been reminiscing their Dr. Dunc stories. It was heartwarming to hear their stories from young children to adults. Dunc truly loved all people and they were drawn to him.
There is an old saying ‘Dreams never die, just the dreamer.’ Dunc was a dreamer that made things into a reality in his professional, family, friendship and community life.
