Kalman, Helen of Aylmer passed away with family by her side at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Sunday, October 15, 2023 in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Stephen Kalman(2018). Dear mother of Thomas of Aylmer, Donna (William Robinson) of Aylmer and James of London. Loving Oma of Katherine Thompson(Evan), Gillian Kalman(Tyler Hackney), Jacqueline(John D’Oria), Jamie Roodzant(Eric) and Jesse Kalman. Proud Great-Oma of  Lainey and Felix. Also survived by sisters Urusula Kietz(late Volker) and Elka Janssen(late Hans) all of Germany and a number of nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by a brother Werner Fasold(Rosie), sisters-in-law Alice(late Ed), Helen Kalman, and a brother-in-law Joseph Kalman(late Mary Margaret).  Born in Fulda, Germany on December 25, 1932, daughter of the late Rudolf and Anna(Schmidt) Fasold. Helen will be remembered for her love of life and for bringing together family and friends. Her greatest joy came from her family. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 5-8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at 11:00 am.
