Obituary of Joanne Ethelston

Ethelston, Joanne of Eden passed away at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Monday, September 11, 2023 in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late John Edward Ethelston(2012). Dear mother of J. Douglas Ethelston and wife Susan of Benmiller. Loving grandmother of Enissa Falconer(Andy) and Tasha Verhoeve(Adam). Great-grandmother of Trent Falconer and Daryn Verhoeve. Also survived by her sister Maxine Borremans and a number of nieces and nephews. Born in Bothwell, Ontario on May 5, 1929, daughter of the late Wilfred and Sadie(McMaster) Nash. With her husband John, Jo farmed in the Aylmer area for many years while also working in various banking institutions in Aylmer. After retirement, John and Jo eventually moved to Red Oaks on Culloden Road where they spent many happy years together. The funeral service will be held at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Monday, September 18, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. Cremation-burial, Aylmer Cemetery.
