Obituary of Betty Stover
Stover, Betty Anne of Kingsmill passed away at Terrace Lodge on Friday, September 1, 2023 in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Howard Stover(2019). Dear mother of Ken Stover(Mary). Loving grandmother of Beth(Bob), Tony, Sarah(Rob), Stephanie(Mike) and great-grandmother of Alexis, Faye and Taylor. Much loved sister of Norma Potter and sister-in-law of Marlene Taylor. She will be missed by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by daughter Lesley Anne(1993), son Ronald Norman (1971), brothers Larry and Ralph Taylor. Born on March 29, 1930, daughter of the late Norman and Bernice(Monck) Taylor. Betty was born and raised in Belmont and later raised her family on their dairy farm in Kingsmill. She was a member of the Mapleton Church of Christ Disciples and Monta Rebekah Lodge Belmont. Betty was an accomplished seamstress and sewed many wedding dresses over the years. It filled her heart to make homemade meals for family and friends. The funeral service will be held at the Mapleton Church of Christ Disciples on Friday, September 8, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. Cremation-burial, Necropolis Cemetery.
