Dear Cynthia and family, We were saddened to hear of John's passing this week. Our schedule has not worked out so that we can be with you, We certainly have lots of memories of our time as Crossley-Hunter neighbours. Lori & Sheila were together often on our veranda playing dolls with Sheila's dollhouse. John was responsible for our garage , sun porch & kitchen renovation. ....a skilled carpenter. On Monday afternoon we went to see John yet. Although he couldn't talk he knew who we were. When we left I thought I will not see him alive on this side of Heaven. John was a great friend for years. Over the years past we spend several weeks on holidays together with the 4 of us. I will miss my friend greatly., until we meet in Heaven where we will join the crowd of people in praising and worshipping our Savior. Very sorry to hear about John's passing. I have many great memories of chatting with John at church, almost on a weekly basis, and discussing his ideas/help with various building projects- large and small- at Faith/FCA over the years. He was a blessing to our ministry in many ways. I know he'll be very much missed by your family and friends. Praying for God's peace, hope and comfort for all of you at this difficult time.
