Obituary of Dina Vanden Brandt
Vanden Brandt, Alberdina “Dina” passed away at her residence, Elgin Manor on Sunday, August 13, 2023 in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Vanden Brandt(2002). Dear mother of Mary Ferguson of Dorchester and James Vanden Brandt(Deb) of Dorchester. Loving grandmother of Jillian, Josie(Keaton), Stephanie(Matt), Justin(Jessica) and Brett. Sister of Ben Josten(late Maria) and Riet Josten(Andre). Sister-in-law of Clara Josten, Corry Josten, Gerard Jetten and Ina Josten. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her siblings Gerard Josten(Miet), Maria Josten, Jos Josten, Frits Josten(Bets), Piet Josten, John Josten(Rose), Johanna Jetten and Harry Josten. Born in Baarle-Nassau, the Netherlands on December 3, 1926, daughter of the late Antonius and Josina(VandenBoomen) Josten. Dina was a dedicated member of Our Lady of Sorrows R.C. Church and the Catholic Women’s League. Dina and Joe lived and farmed near Avon for many years. Since 2002, Dina appreciated her friends and neighbours on John Street North in Aylmer. Visitation will be held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be held at the Our Lady of Sorrows R. C. Church, Aylmer on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at 10:00 am. Interment, Queen of Peace Cemetery. Donations to St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital Foundation or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
