Obituary of Bruno Welsand

Welsand, Bruno of Cambridge passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Monday, July 31, 2023 in his 89^th year. Beloved husband of the late Charlotte(Zimmerman) Welsand. Dear father of Caroline Welsand(Sean) and Barb Abell(Kevin). Loving grandfather of Rebecca Whipple(James), Matthew Abell(Vanessa), Nathaniel Abell(Mikayla) and Jeremy Abell. Survived also by his sister Anita Banyard(Robert) and sisters-in-law Karola Welsand and Alice Welsand. Predeceased by his brothers Gerhard Welsand and Helmut Welsand and sisters Irene Alt(John) and Erica Welsand. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Born in Jakubow, Poland on May 28, 1935, son of the late Rudolph and Olga(Barth) Welsand. Bruno and Charlotte enjoyed many vacations throughout North America and Europe creating many memories along the way. Bruno greatly cherished quality time with his family. He enjoyed soaking in the sunshine, taking long walks outdoors and watching soccer on TV. Cremation has taken place.
