Obituary of Gord Gracey

Gracey, Gordon of Aylmer passed away at the Aylmer Retirement Residence on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 in his 96^th year. Beloved husband of the late Evelyn(White) Gracey (2022). Dear father of Dan Gracey(Torina) and Peter Gracey. Also survived by his two grandchildren, a great-grandson and a number of nieces and nephews. Brother-in-law of Barbara McPhee and John E. White(June). Predeceased by his brothers Ross(Irene), Hugh(Hazel), Ralph, Glen and sister Norma(Gene). Born in Springfield, Ontario on August 5, 1927, son of the late William and Cora(Hodgson) Gracey. Gord and Evelyn lived at Erindale, Mississauga but also had a home west of Aylmer. Gord was a teacher and owned and operated Gracey Tree Service.  In later years, they retired and purchased a home in Aylmer. A celebration of Gord's life will be held at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Donations to the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
