Obituary of Bruce Meharg

With sadness, it was learned that Wm. Bruce Meharg passed away peacefully at his residence in Calgary, AB. on Monday, June 5, 2023, just a few days before his 74th birthday. Bruce was born at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on June 10, 1949, to parents Helen and George Meharg of Glen Meyer. He is survived by sisters Carol Morrow(Norm), and Madeline Meharg(George Van Mater), and a brother David Meharg(Mary).

Bruce enjoyed quiet games of chess with his friends. He was a faithful fan of the Toronto Blue Jays and the Toronto Maple Leafs. His interest in the Toronto hockey team led him to author a book "Legends of the Leafs".

Cremation has taken place, and a private internment of his ashes will take place in a family plot in Tillsonburg at a later date. McInnis and Halloway Funeral Home of Calgary, AB. and H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home of Aylmer, ON. have assisted with funeral arrangements.
