Van Dyk, Lambert “Bert” Henry of Aylmer passed away peacefully at his residence with his family by his side on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of the late Nellie(Hoffer) Van Dyk(2000).  Dear father of Linda Deller(Kirby) of Aylmer and the late Lou Van Dyk. He will be missed by his grandchildren Danielle(Adam), Amanda, Brittany(Fu) and Kendra(Colin) and his six great-grandchildren, with one more soon to join the family. Survived by his sister Tina Vanderwetering(late Harry), and brother Henry Van Dyk(Anna Marie). Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers Joe, John, Jim, Tony, Leo, Frank and Pete and sisters, Betty, Mary, Helen and Henrietta. Born in Mill, The Netherlands, on February 9, 1932, son of the late Leonard and Johanna(Lamers) Van Dyk. Bert was a licensed masonry and carpenter building custom homes. In the summer, Bert would go perch fishing on Lake Erie. His heart was always with his family and loved spending time with them. Bert was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows R.C. Church and the Knights of Columbus. Visitation will be held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday from 5:00-8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Queen of Peace Cemetery.
