Obituary of Murray Pettit

Pettit, Murray of Belmont passed away at Chartwell Aylmer Long Term Care Residence on Sunday, May 14, 2023 in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Betty(Honeywood) Pettit. Dear father of Suzanne Pettit, Tom Pettit(Kris) and step-father to Greg Chute(Nikki) and Scott Chute(Linda). Loving grandfather of Madison, Kadence and Mason. Brother of Ralph Pettit(Joyce).  Born in South Dorchester Twp., Ontario on July 19, 1938, son of the late Melvin and Clara(Ferguson) Pettit. Murray was a life-long dairy farmer and enjoyed snowmobiling and ATVs. In his early years, he loved Belgian horses and Allis-Chalmers tractors. Visitation will be held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Necropolis Cemetery.
