Please accept my sincere condolences on your loss. Howard was a special person to many many people. He was a great member of 'Extreme' Golf, and at the Alumni Golf Tournament. One year at 'Extreme' he and I ducked out from going to the Casino, and had a quiet evening dinner at the A&W! We talked about a lot of things, and became closer. He will be forever missed and remembered at these events as a teammate. Craig Hunter

Linda & Family: Our relationship goes back a long way. It was with a great deal of sorrow that I saw Howard taken at such a young age. We had some good memories and these will always be cherished. Please accept our condolence and maybe our paths will cross again. Jim & Ilse Mc Millan

Dear Linda: Lynn & I are absolutely still in shock over Howie's passing. None of us had any idea a week ago that things were that bad... I guess we all sometimes feel we are bullet proof. Our deepest, most sincere condolences. OAC 71 has lost a very dear friend. I will always remember his characteristic laugh. Love: Lynn & Bill Green

My sincere condolences on your loss. I had the fortune to know Howard through "Extreme". Howard had a knack for making your worst round of golf a lot of fun. As the sport should be. Always enjoyed, and will dearly miss, those August rounds with Howard.

Dear Churchill Family, My condolences to your entire family on the passing of Howard. My niece, Jean Hedden from the 5th concession, let me know this morning. I went to public school in Harrietsville with Howard and Doug and took piano lessons from Margaret. My thoughts are especially with Margaret and Doug. It is much too soon to lose a son and brother. Sincerely, Linda (Mayo) Marr, Spruce Grove, Alberta

Linda and family - we have been thinking of you all through the past several months, and expecially in these past weeks. Although I haven't seen him often in the past several years, Howie was always interested in where we were and what we were doing in life. He always had a smile on his face and a great laugh. He was a wonderful man that will be missed by all. May your friends and family keep you strong, Julie

Sincere condolences to Mrs Churchill, Margaret and Doug and their families. I reminisce, and remember first meeting Howard when he had just moved in to the big farm house across the empty lot next door to our house. It only seems like yesterday when I took music lessons - because Howard told me his Mom taught piano, that very first day we met. I appreciate how the loss of such a good and active community and family man will be deeply felt by your family and all of Harrietsville. Sincerely, Judy (Barr) Innes, Regina, SK
