Brenda was a ray of sunshine in the Friendship Group. She was so happy and full of love. We enjoyed sending little greetings back and forth through friends and workers. To know Brenda was to love her…and to feel loved by her.

I met Brenda when I began working with Community Living Elgin 40 years ago. We have been separated for a number of years but whenever we ran into each other she was always warm and welcoming. We worked together at the workshop and she gave her all, gave her input at member meetings and was a true self advocate. My condolences to the family. Annie Robert

I was so very sorry to hear about Brenda. I am thinking of all of her friends and support persons who cared for her at Troy Village and the Community LIving Aylmer day program that she attended during the day. Also, all of those loving people at Friendship Group. Because of each and everyone of you, Brenda knew she was loved. Hugs to you all.

It was indeed a pleasure to get to know Brenda first through church and then for a while I was one of her PSW’s. She loved singing and she would try to pull pranks on me when I was at her place. Her smile was infectious and she will be missed

We lovingly remember Brenda from our time at St. Paul’s where she sang in the choir with her mother.
I (Tiena) then met her again at Friendship Group which she attended for about 30 years, until just before Covid. We really missed her. She was a cheerful and willing participant there. Now she is safe in the arms of Jesus.

May you rest in Peace Brenda- many years ago there was a group of Mothers who fought hard for their children who needed some help along life’s journey- your mother Dorothy - Jane’s mother Doris and my mother Jean for my brother Greg - to name but a few - these Mothers were determined and won their battle - you are now once again in your loving Mother’s arms
