Obituary of Jean Chaleyssin

Chaleyssin, Jean passed away at Extendicare, Port Stanley on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of the late Antoinette  (DeBacker) Chaleyssin(2020) and the late Annette (Blanchard) Chaleyssin(2000). Dear father of Gerard Chaleyssin(Vickie) of Tillsonburg. Loving grandfather of Nichelle(Marco), Branden(Morgan) and Gaston(Brittanie). Also survived by his sister Pierrette and a number of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his step-daughter Lynn and sister Reine.  Born in France on November 19, 1930, son of the late Jean Pierre and Antoinette(Poulet) Chaleyssin. Jean enjoyed many years of travelling to Florida, Europe, Asia and Australia. He was a tobacco farmer at Port Burwell for many years. Jean was an avid gardener and beekeeper. Visitation will be held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday, February, 24, 2023 from 5-8 p.m. where the funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Interment, St. Luke's Cemetery.
