Obituary of Wayne Zimmer

It is with profound sadness that the family of Wayne Peter Zimmer, announces his passing on Sunday January 29^th, 2023, at the age of 69.  Wayne will be remembered by his loving wife of 50 years, Patricia Zimmer, his children Greg (Suzy), Ryan (Emma) and Trisha and his beloved grandchildren, Erica, Maggie, Owen, Rachel, Abbigail, Tyler and Myles.  Wayne will also be remembered by his siblings, Ken, Patrick (Susan), Linda Callaghan (Terry), Joe, Paul (Karen), Cathy Walker (Ron), Peter (Janice), sister-in-law Pat Zimmer and brother-in-law Brian Hunter.  He will be fondly remembered by his sisters-in-law, Joan Rothenberg, Jean Walker (Eric) and brother-in-law Bill Arthur (Diana) and many nieces and nephews.  Wayne is predeceased by his parents Joseph and Carolyn Zimmer, and siblings Sandra Hunter, Mary Zimmer and Bob Zimmer.

Wayne enjoyed spending time with his family and his dog Louis and watching his grandkids play sports. He loved spending his summers at Fin & Feather with his family and his close friends. Wayne was a Tool & Die maker who worked for 29 years at Presstran Industries before retiring in 2018.

Visitation will be held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Thursday from 1-3:00 p.m. and 5-8:00 p.m. where the funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, February 3, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Springfield Cemetery.
