Obituary of Joanne Vording

VORDING Joanne of Aylmer passed away peacefully with family at her side at St.Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 in her 79th year. Beloved wife of Ralph. Loving mother to Cindy Bodini (Richard), Jim Vording (Jill), Jennifer Dam (Chris) and Wendy Bootsma (Jody). Grandmother of 20 favourite grandchildren and 3 favourite great grandchildren. Sister to Henry Helder (Alaine), Corrie Hooghiem (George), Jane Van Gurp ✞ (Harry), Toney Helder ✞ (Margaret ✞), Minnie Hiemstra (Andy ✞), Bernard Helder (Jayne ✞), Annie Hulst (John ✞). Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Joanne was born on March 25, 1944, Daughter of the late Alle and Zwaantje (Van Kooten) Helder. Visitation at the Aylmer Christian Reformed Church on Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A private graveside service will be held at the Aylmer Cemetery prior to the funeral. The funeral service will be held at the Church on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Immanuel Christian School, Aylmer would be appreciated.
