Obituary of Don Johnson

Johnson, Donald Alfred (Don), of Aylmer passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on December 12, 2022 in his 95th year. Beloved husband of the late Betty(James) Johnson (2019). Dear father of the late Brad Johnson(1973), Mark Johnson(Heather), Darryl Johnson(Betty), Dean Johnson(Darlene), Marlene Hornby(Allan) and Kelly Venner(Greg). Loving grandfather of Brent(Miranda), Mike(Jenn), Codie(Ben), Steven, Ryan(Kaitlyn), Tyler, Donald(Kelsey), Alex, Amy and Scott. Great Grandchildren, Auston, Audrey, Thomas and baby Johnson arriving in early 2023. Predeceased by his brother Bus Johnson(Marjorie), and sisters Margaret Morse(Bob) and Lucille Watterworth(Don). Also predeceased by brother in law Murray James(Marion). Survived by nieces and nephews. Born in Malahide Township, on October 26, 1928, son of the late Charles and Maude(Abell) Johnson. Don lived his whole life on the family farm on Glencolin Line. In his adult years he operated the butcher shop and farmed with his brother Bus. Visitation at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Sunday, December 18, 2022 2-4p.m. and 6-8p.m., where the funeral service will be held on Monday, December 19 at 11:00a.m., with a family internment, Aylmer Cemetery.
