Obituary of Betty Martin

Martin, Elizabeth “Betty” of Pt. Burwell passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on November 27, 2022 in her 78th year. Beloved wife of Larry Martin. Dear mother of Catherine Lindsay(Rob), Calvin Martin and Tim Martin(Brenda). Loving and proud grandma of Damon, Seth and Caden Lindsay, Max and Rex Martin, Brett and Amanda Martin. Dear sister of Bernard Brisseau. Predeceased by brothers and sisters Weldon (Huck) Collins, Wanita Collins, Richard (Dick) Brisseau, Velma Matthews, Harvey Brisseau and Leona Shepherd. Betty will always be remembered by her numerous nieces and nephews.  Born in Port Burwell, Ontario on December 21, 1944, daughter of the late Harold Brisseau and Mabel (Collins). Betty will be remembered as the "Fish Lady" at Martin’s Fish Market in Port Burwell. She enjoyed volunteering at the Anglican Parish Hall. There will be no formal service or visitation.
