My condolences to all of Marilyn's family. I had the joy of working with Marilyn at Canada Post for many years. It was wonderful working with a strong Christian lady who was not afraid to share her faith. It was obvious her love for her family, at that time she lovingly shared about John, Stan & Lori and the grand kids. What a wonderful legacy to also now have so many great grandchildren she would have been so proud of I'm sure. My thoughts and prayers are for you at this time. May you find comfort in 2 Corinthians 5:8.

Patient.
Persevering.
Loving.
Kind.
Gentle.
Compassionate.
Generous.
Funny.
Marlyn was all these good things and many many more.
Marlyn, John and Stan took me into their home when I needed help the most. I was 17. Lost, confused, and angry. I likely would not have returned to Grade 12 without Marlyn's kindness. I didn't understand or accept that I needed help and often worked against what Marlyn was offering.
Time has a curious way of bringing understanding to life lessons.
Marlyn: I'm sorry I was so difficult, rebellious and thoughtless when you were trying to help me.
I'll never forget the patience, perseverance, love, kindness, gentleness, compassion, generosity, and joy that you demonstrated throughout your life.
Stan, Lori, grandchildren and great-grandchildren: so sorry to hear that Marlyn is gone, but, we also know that she is gone to a better place, to be reunited with John, and other friends and family, and her heavenly father.
Sent with love and deep respect for a wonderful lady.
