Obituary of Jerry Antonissen

Antonissen, Jerry of Aylmer passed away peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 in his 88^th year. Beloved husband of Cecilia(Vandecappelle) Antonissen for 64 years. Dear father of Tammy Mannell(Gary) of Aylmer, Rick Antonissen(Shirley) of Aylmer, and Kelly Antonissen(Tracey) of Sparta Line. Loving grandfather of Chirstina(Kevin), Jesse(Kim), Stephanie(Matt), Craig(Kaela), Kelsey, and Alex and great-grandfather of Kailey, Madison, Maverick, Brantley, and Colson. Brother of Henry Antonissen(Mary Beth), Josie Espisito(Pat), and Leah Bilinsky(Nic). Predeceased by his sister Irene. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Born in Braasschaat, Belgium on September 7, 1935, son of the late Louis and Victoria(Raes) Antonissen. Jerry was the founder of Antonissen Trucking and grew tobacco for many years. He was a breeder; raised and flew homing pigeons. He was proud of his Clearview Loft Racing Pigeons. Jerry was on the board of Holy Rosary Catholic School Board. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. A funeral service will be held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home on Friday, October 14, 2022 at 2:00pm with visitation an hour prior. Internment, Queen of Peace Cemetery.
