Brown, at her residence on Thursday, August 17, 2006. Evelyn Brown of Terrace Lodge, Aylmer in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Leslie Brown. Loving mother of Phyllis Howey and husband Gerald of Aylmer, Donald Brown and wife Ella Mae of R.R.#4, Aylmer, Doreen Ward and husband Jim of R.R.#1, Aylmer, W. Harold Brown and wife Shirley of Aylmer, Fred Brown and wife Cathy of R.R.#1, Aylmer and Sharon Crocker of St. Thomas. Dear sister of Olive Shively of Springfield. She will be sadly missed by 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her daughter Bonnie Holmes, a brother Wilfred Clarke and 2 sisters Greeta Sandham and Mildred Clarke. Born in Brownsville on February 19, 1914 daughter of the late John and Mary Ann (Burkes) Clarke. Evelyn was a member of the Brownsville Baptist Church and Secretary Treasurer of the Sunday School. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on August 21, 2006 at 1:00 pm. Interment, Springfield Cemetery.
