Many of us worked with Maria at Fanshawe College - St. Thomas during COVID. We recall an amazingly friendly person who always went above and beyond. She was always smiling in the halls, which made our days more bright! We would like to send our condolences to her family during this time. Your mother was a real sweetheart.

Sending my deepest condolence's to Amanda, Jordan and your families you will be in my thoughts and prayers in the coming weeks. I worked with you mom for a short time at Fanshawe College and that's all I needed to know what an amazing, supportive and loving person your mom was. She always had a kind word and support to offer no matter what. Her faith was always so strong and her love for the Lord was in everything she did. Rest well Maria till we meet again

Dear Amanda, Jordan and families, I’m so sorry to hear of the loss of your mom. I saw her last at my cousin Mya’s funeral in the fall, and she gave me a great big hug and we had a short but sweet catch up. I have good memories of our time together growing up on Walker’s Side Road and at GFC. You’re all in my prayers - may you know the comfort of the Lord and His loving arms around you. I had the pleasure of working with Maria for a few years and we shared many laughs! I’ll never forget her happy/bubbly personality! She was a special person through and through. Heart of gold. I remember her taking many trips to the beach, it really was a favourite place of hers where she felt at peace. Rest in the sweetest peace Maria. Thinking of the entire family at this very difficult time.

Amanda, I am so deeply sorry to hear of the passing of your Mom. Although we haven’t seen each other in decades, the memories I have of spending so much time at your house will always be special to me.
