Sadly we lost another angel. Judie passed away suddenly at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Thursday, July 21st, 2022 with her loving family by her side. She was born on April 6, 1941 in Barrie Ontario. Dearly loved mother of Kelly Laur and Kerry Dennee. Deeply adored by her loving grandsons Trevor(Laura), Brent(Tovah), and Brayden. Treasured GG to Easton, Maci, Mayla, Cullen, Wynne, and MacKinnon. Cherished by her sister Pat Nowell in Australia. Predeceased by her loving husband Donald, her mother Rose Nowell, her sister Phyllis Moore, and sister-in-law Judie Swan(Bob). She will be missed by her three wonderful nieces Cathy(Mort), Debbie (Jim), and Sandra(John), great-nieces' Laura and Julia, and great-nephews Dalton and Logan. Also sadly missed by many close friends, neighbours, and colleagues over the years. As a young woman, Judie was a part of the Aylmer Kinette Club and Aylmer Blues Booster Club. She put many years into Thames Valley District School Board as an educational assistant. In retirement she put her time towards the YWCA, working again with young children and sharing her wisdom. Judie's favourite thing in life was her family. She always found a way to connect with young children which brought so much joy to her life. She was also a big dog lover; she will be missed by her dogs Honey and Sugar. Anyone who met Judie, knew Judie. She never let anyone she knew slip by without offering her sincere advice. She was a shining light in any room she walked into, ensuring each person was comfortable with their surroundings. Visitation will be held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home on Monday from 7:00-9:00pm where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at 11:00am. Cremation-Burial in the Aylmer Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Donkey Sanctuary of Canada, Helping Paws Rescue, St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital or your charity of choice. The service will be available for livestream. Share condolences and memories at kebbelfuneralhome.com
