Obituary of Roger Geldhof

Geldhof, Roger Hendrick Joseph of Vienna passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on February 10, 2022 in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Angie (Klassen) Geldhof and the late Nelly (Lamers) Geldhof(1994). Dear father of Mary Yates(Jim Vandenbor), Jack Geldhof(Kellie) and stepfather of Shawn, Selena and Venessa. Grandfather of Brad Yates, Kyle Yates, Amanda Long and Ashley Weare. Brother of Erica Rambout, brother-in-law of Arthur Oslach, Cindy and Bob and son-in-law of Elisa. He will be missed by a number of great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Sonja Oslach(2019), Oda Meseure(2015) and brothers Roger(1940) and Jack(2009) Geldhof.  Born in Roeselare, Belgium on December 15, 1942, son of the late Camiel and Odette (Cnockaert) Geldhof. Roger was a welder at Yaeger Machine in St. Thomas. He enjoyed working on cars, playing darts and trips to Tim Hortons.

 

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, friends and family who wish to attend the visitation may call the funeral home at 519-773-8400 between 9am-5pm. (Masks and social-distancing are required) Visitation will be held at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Monday from 6:00-8:00p.m. where the funeral service will take place on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at 11:00a.m.
