Obituary of Berniece Wood

Wood, Berniece Norma of Aylmer passed away peacefully at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Saturday, February 5, 2022 in her 94th year. Wife of the late Bill Wood(1998). Dear mother of Bradley Wood of Aylmer and Bonnie Dowson(Bill) of Tillsonburg. Predeceased by her sons Brian and Barry Wood and her sister Leota Noels. Mother-in-law of Linda Wood and Carol Wood. Loving grandmother of Auralee, Aaron, Shawnna, Steven, Trevor, Sarah, Tyler, Eric, David and Craig. Also survived by a number of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  Born in Maple Grove, Ontario on May 25, 1928, daughter of the late Chet and Katie (Roberts) Ketchabaw. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, friends and family who wish to attend the visitation or funeral may call the funeral home at 519-773-8400 between 9am-5pm. (Masks and social-distancing are required). Visitation will be held the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 11:00 am. Interment, Elmdale Cemetery.
