Obituary of Gene Branton

Branton, Eugene “Gene” of St. Thomas peacefully passed away at his residence surrounded by his family and loved ones on Thursday, February 3, 2022 in his 70^th year. Beloved husband of Helen "Hank" (McCallum) Branton. Born in Prince Edward County, Ontario on August 5, 1952, son of the late Fred and Dorothy (Shepherd) Branton. Brother of Jeanette Branton, Vivian Oatman(Stan), Richard Branton, Patricia Chaleyssin and brother-in-law to Gerard Chaleyssin. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother Martin Nelson Branton and a nephew Stan.Gene was an avid fisherman and a jokester. He was a definite Leafs fan. A funeral service will be held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home on Monday, February 7, 2022 at 11:00am with visitation an hour prior. Please call the funeral home at 519-773-8400 between 9am-5pm to register for the visitation and funeral.
