Leo was one of a kind. Kind, funny, musical, with a big heart and smile. Leo and Carolyn were a big part of my youth growing up and for that I am very grateful. From the music in the barn, snow mobile and fishing parties to just listening to the endless entertaining stories only Leo could tell. The world was a better place with leo in it. I will miss you. . So sorry Carolyn and family for your loss.

The "Gentle Giant" was the first person we met when we moved to Rogers Road. He stopped in to welcome us to the neighbourhood and invite us to the Harvest Party at "Leo's Barn" aka Howe's Barn. He would often stop in and spread his zest and exuberance. He named our dog "Hemorrhoid" because he was a pain in the ass. I am proud and thankful that Leo was in my life. My condolences to all of his family, whom I've had the pleasure to know. Long live the memory of the Gentle Giant. Dave

He made me one of his Tobacco Slat Creations for every birthday & would tell me he didn't want me to forget the good times we had when they were still on the farm! I will cherish every single piece he ever made me!! My Memories of Leo will be forever etched in my heart! Please know that we are thinking of you all at this very Difficult time! Leo was always there for his family to do anything. He loved to joke, sing, dance and make everyone laugh. He was a very hard worker and enjoyed to do things right. Leo was the best father-in-law I could ask for and a wonderful grandpa to Amanda and Brandy. He will be missed by so many. I know he is in heaven now with all his family and friends telling stories, singing and playing his guitar. We all will meet again someday.

Uncle Leo we will miss you dearly. It was just a month ago and you were calling me Tonka at the tire shop and cracking jokes about being the youngest, smartest and most handsome brother out of the Aspden boys. I have so many fond memories as a child with you. I'm ever so blessed I had the chance to give you one big squeeze and one last tease about your ears and tell you Harvey was the goodlooking one. What great laughs we had that day. You will always continue on in our memories, stories we will share and most of all our hearts. I send all my love and condolences.
