Obituary of Fred Kristoff

Kristoff, Frederick Mathias of Aylmer passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Sunday, January 23, 2022 in his 95th year. Beloved husband of the late Ruth (Martin) Kristoff(2014) and dear father of Wayne Kristoff and wife Mary Ann of London, Karen Palmer and husband Dave of  Aylmer and Wendy Hiepleh and husband Wayne of Aylmer. Loving grandfather of Geof(Nicole), Katie(Ryan), Kristoffer(Melody), Matthew(Maria), Megan(Justin), Trevor(Liz). Great-grandfather of Adie, Tess, Oliver, Norah, Kaleigh, Maddy, MacKenna, Andrew, Amelia, Julia and Chiara. Born in Windsor, Ontario on December 25, 1927, son of the late Max and Helen (Haas) Kristoff. Predeceased by his brother Karl and his sister Helen. He was Superintendent of the Aylmer Cemetery. Fred and his wife Ruth worked together throughout the years. They designed and sold cemetery memorials for many years and took great pride in caring for their customers. He was an avid rose grower and received countless awards for his roses. Fred was a member of the German Canadian Club, the Aylmer Fair Board and a proud member of the Aylmer Fire Dept. He will be remembered by his telling stories and having a laugh.   Friends may call for visitation at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Wednesday from 1-4 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 11:00 am.
