Obituary of Wilfred Jeffery

Wilfred Eldon Jeffery passed away at age 96 on December 1, 2021 in London, Ontario. Hymn singer extraordinaire, proud veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces, and former police and customs officer, Wilf once provided security for the Beatles (insert eye-roll here; he was unimpressed and remained completely immune to Beatlemania!). 

Wilf is survived by his youngest daughter, Linda Jeffery Batchelder, and has crossed the River Jordan to be with his wife, Doris (Stevenson) Jeffery, and his eldest daughter, Janice (Jeffery) Myer. Loved by his grandchildren, Shelley Myer, Elizabeth Myer, Kelley Coherd, and Jeff Coherd, as well as his great grandchildren, Laila, Lucy, Jonah, Maggie, and William. His commitment to his faith, his ability and willingness to sing tenor on every hymn, and his devotion to his family will always be remembered.

A small interment is scheduled for Monday, December 6th, at 12:30pm at Whites Cemetery in Trenton, Ontario.
