Obituary of Elizabeth Weber
Elizabeth Weber of Richmond, Ontario, passed away after a 5-year battle with cancer, on October 29, 2021 at her residence on Hoover Valley Road in her 47 th year. She was born on January 25, 1975 in Kitchener, ON.
Elizabeth is survived by her parents, Ivan and Minerva (Martin) Weber of Norwich, ON; two sisters, Ellen (Cleon) Martin of Clifford, ON and Crystal (David) Bergen of Norwich, ON; and two brothers, David and Derek Weber also of Norwich, ON. She will be greatly missed by 3 nieces and 6 nephews. Elizabeth was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Isaiah and Lizzie Martin and by her paternal grandparents, Amos and Annie Weber, and by her foster brother, Andrew Oke. Elizabeth entered the Christian life and was baptized in her early teens upon confession of her faith. She was a faithful member of the Corinth Mennonite Church. As a career of her life she occupied approximately 25 years in the Juniour class room About 246 students entered into school life with her motherly touch.
The family wishes to express sincere gratitude to the many church sisters, VON’s and support personnel for all their time, sympathy and assistance in the last 5 years Elizabeth battled cancer. May God richly bless you all!
Visitation hours are to be held at the Corinth Mennonite Church (54519 Eden Line, Aylmer) on Sunday, October 31, 2021 from 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM and on November 1, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The family will remain seated to receive their guests and will refrain from shaking hands. The funeral is to be held at the Bradley Street church of God (5 Bradley Street, Aylmer) on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at 2:00 PM.
