Obituary of Douane Holditch

Holditch, at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Sunday, July 9, 2006. Douane Dixon Holditch of R.R.2, Aylmer in his 91st year. Beloved husband of Evelyn (Rodgers) Holditch. Dear father of Muriel Jones of Florida, Don Holditch and wife Carrol of R.R.#2, Aylmer and foster father of Frank Wallis(Barb) of St. Thomas. Also survived by a son-in-law Bill Wye and wife Muriel of Ingersoll and a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his daughter Margaret Ann Wye(2002) and brothers George, Arthur, Harold and Cecil Holditch Born in Malahide Township on June 7, 1916 son of the late Henry and Jessica (Dixon) Holditch. He was a farmer and worked at Imperial for 25 year. Douane enjoyed wintering in Florida for 24 years. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held onWednesday, July 12, 2006 at 1:00 pm. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
