Obituary of Frances Earnshaw
Earnshaw, Frances slipped away from us on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at Victoria Hospital in London, Ontario, in her 97th year. The angels took her home. They've been waiting a long time and they are delighted to have her back. She was an angel on earth and now she has taken her rightful place among the angels in heaven. Gone from us but never forgotten, Frances was loved by all who knew her. Predeceased by her husband Kenneth in 2001, she is survived by her three children: Ross (Suzanne Crichton), Robert (Kelly Reiter) and Janice (Ted Kelly); six grandchildren: Cameron, Reid, Sarah (Paulo Bastos), Jesse (Payge Whyard), Chase and Maggie; and two great grandsons, Sarah's children, Dante and Enzo. Special thanks to the doctors and staff in the Emergency Department, the Oncology Unit, and the ACE unit (Acute Care for the Elderly) at Victoria Hospital who took great care of her during her final days and loved her like their own. Special thanks as well to Longworth Retirement Residence where Frances happily spent the final 16+ years of her life, receiving wonderful care, and where she was much loved by staff and residents alike. A lifelong member of the United Church of Canada, Frances had a deep and abiding faith that supported her in times of trouble and comforted her and her family during her final days. Visitation will be held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home on Saturday, October 9, 2021 from 2-4 p.m. (Masks and social-distancing required). Interment, Elmdale Cemetery. There will be a private funeral service for the immediate family; however, a celebration of life open to the broader family and her many friends and acquaintances will be conducted at a later time when pandemic protocols permit. As an expression of sympathy, donations can be made to Kilworth United Church, 2442 Oxford Street West, London, Ontario, N6K 4P2 (Website: www.kilworthunited.ca). Online condolences may be offered at H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home (kebbelfuneralhome.com).
