Obituary of Aldon Gent

Gent, at London Health Science Centre-Westminster Campus on Monday, July 3, 2006. Aldon Gent of R.R.#1 Springfield in his 92nd year. Dear brother of Gordon Gent and wife Beulah of St. Thomas, Audrey Jenkins of Belmont, Doris Hutchinson of Bridgenorth, Ontario. Brother-in-law of Babe Gent of London and Stan Ponting of Port Rowan. Also survived by a number of nieces & nephews. Predeceased by a brother Leo Gent, a sister Olive Ponting and brothers-in-law Harold Jenkins and Max Hutchinson. Born in Kingsmill on November 20, 1914 son of the John and Rachel (Smith) Gent. Aldon was a Dairy and Cash Crop farmer and was active in the community. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2006 at 1:00 pm. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery. Donations to the St. John�s United Church or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
