Obituary of Etienne Borm
Borm, Etienne of Calton, Ontario, in his 92nd year. Etienne was married to the love of his life, Marie-Louise for 67 years. Father of Linda (Bob), Anita (Gary) and Etienne (Heather), grandfather of Alison, Michael, Adrianna, Annelise, Etienne; very special “Nonkel” of Jerry (Nicole), Denise (Michael), Daniel (Donna) and Christine (Ken) and their children Cassandra, Phillip, Kristin, Kevin, Erin, Karly, Emily, Laura and Julia. He was born in Stekene, Belgium on April 9, 1930, the son of Alfons and Cesarine, but he lived most of his life in Canada. He founded ETBO in Antwerp in 1953 and again in Canada in 1958, and grew the business together with Marie-Louise their whole lives. He was active in the Aylmer Figure Skating Club and the Aylmer Rotary Club for many years. Cremation has taken place. There will be no public visitation. A private family funeral service will be held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at 10am and will be available livestream for those wishing to attend virtually. Internment, Aylmer Cemetery.
