Obituary of Cynthia McEown
McEown, Cynthia of Aylmer passed away at her residence on Monday, May 31, 2021 in her 74th year. Beloved wife of the late Richard McEown(2012). Dear mother of Evangeline McEown(Dan Nelson) of St. Thomas and Glenn McEown of St. Thomas. Loving grandmother of Sadie. Predeceased by her sister Irene Marcus. Born in Fairview, Nova Scotia on August 21, 1946, daughter of the late Wilfred and Avora (Sanford) Roberts. Cynthia was a legal secretary at Doyle & Prendergast and in later years worked in the office at St. Paul’s United Church. She was very proud of her Nova Scotia heritage. Due to COVID restrictions a family service will be held on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at 11am and will be available for livestream. She will be buried in Nova Scotia with her husband and mother.
