Obituary of Bob Cerna

Cerna, Robert Nicholas of R.R.1, Port Burwell passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Saturday, February 6, 2021 in his 73rd year.  Husband of Helene (Cousineau) Cerna for 33 years. Beloved father of Julianne, Alain, Marc and Natalie Cerna. Born in Tillsonburg on October 5, 1948, loving son of Sylvia (Barnes) Cerna of Aylmer and the late Nicholas Cerna Sr.(2002). Brother of Elizabeth Zorgel (Randy) Nicholas Cerna Jr., Richard Cerna (Chris), Sylvia Cerna and the late Frank Cerna (2012).  Dear family friend of Bonnie deFauw. He will be missed by a number of nieces and nephews. Bob was passionate about history, weather, farming and his family. He adored gardening and tending his hobby farm. Due to COVID-19, there will be no visitations, but please share a special meal with your family in honour of Bob. A private family funeral service will be held at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 9, 2021. Interment, St. Ladislaus Cemetery, Courtland. Donations to Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
