Obituary of Benjamin Peters
Peters, Benjamin of St. Thomas passed away at his residence on Saturday, November 28, 2020 in his 72nd year. Beloved husband of Elisabeth (Harder) Peters. Dear father of Helena Peters(Lester), Margaret Hamm(John), Jacob Peters(Maria), Henry Peters(Margaret), Lisa Pilotte(Joel), Maria Martens(Isaac), Kate Friesen(Peter), Anna Peters(John), Ben Peters, Johnny Peters(Melody), Susie Peters(Henry) and Eva Peters. Loving grandfather to 41 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Brother of Maria Wall(Cornelius). He will be missed by a number of nieces and nephews. Born in Durango, Mexico on February 7, 1949, son of the late Jacob and Helena (Thiessen) Peters. He worked for Hoover Sawmill near Kitchener and retired when he was 65. In Mexico he worked for a cheese factory for 15 years. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, friends and family who wish to attend the visitation, may call the funeral home at 519-773-8400 (Masks are required). Visitation will be held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 starting at 6pm. A private family funeral service will be held at the EMMC, Summers Corners on Wednesday, December 2, 2020.
