Obituary of Annie Van Ryswyk

Annie Van Ryswyk (In’T Hulst) passed away peacefully at her residence, Chartwell, Aylmer on Friday, November 13, 2020, at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Leo Van Ryswyk(2011). Much loved mother of Jacqueline Van Ryswyk of Aylmer, Wilma Hunt(Don) of Waterloo, Gary Van Ryswyk(Mary) of Smithville, Joan Colley(Bob) of Aylmer and Mary Ann Van Ryswyk of Aylmer. Special grandma to Nicole(Kyle), Devin(Francesca), Jason, Natalie, Jamie(Crystal), Steven(Courtney), Stephanie, Amanda and Peter. “Great-grandma Aylmer” to Leo, Ellie, Olive, Lorelei and Leah. Survived by her twin brother Jacques In’t Hulst(Nellie) in the Netherlands. Predeceased by her son Peter (1979) and siblings Wim, Harry, Gerard and Jan In’t Hulst, Netje van Well and Mia Peeters. Fondly remembered by her extended family, Mary Van Ryswyk, Annie and Bert Verhallen, Leny Vermeeren, Diane Wolters, Joe and Liz Van Ryswyk and Bernie Van Ryswyk and many nieces and nephews in Canada and the Netherlands. Annie was born in Venray, the Netherlands, to the late Gerard and Koos In’t Hulst. Annie immigrated to Canada by herself to marry Leo in 1957. She worked many years side by side with Leo on the turkey farm where she also loved to spend time and make many memories with her grandchildren. She was very dedicated to her family, friends, the Catholic Women’s League and Community Living Association. There was also an endless supply of coffee offered to anyone who knocked on her door and chocolate sprinkle sandwiches for her grandchildren. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, friends and family who wish to attend the visitation may call the funeral home at 519-773-8400 (Masks are required). Visitation at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Sunday starting at 1pm. The private funeral mass will be held at the Our Lady of Sorrows R.C. Church, Aylmer on Monday, November 16, 2020.
