Obituary of Katharina Johrendt

Johrendt, at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Wednesday April 19, 2006. Katharina Johrendt of Aylmer in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late Martin Johrendt (2004). Dear mother of Sinni Barr and husband Norman of Aylmer. Grandfather to Lyndon and Michael Barr and Walter and Nancy Johrendt. Also survived by two nieces in Germany Maria Thalgott and Sinni Enders. Predeceased by a son Martin (1980) and a daughter Katharina (1944). Born in Wermesch Romania on February 28, 1923 the daughter of the late Michael and Maria (Binder) Waretzi. Katharina came to Canada in 1953 from Austria. Together with her husband Martin they operated the Elm Motel and Service Station in Aylmer for 21 years. Katharina retired from Imperial Tobacco with over 35 years service. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Aylmer. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Thursday 7-9 p.m and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday April 22, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at St. John�s Lutheran Church, Aylmer.
