Obituary of Madeleine Masschaele

Masschaele, Madeleine Germaine passed away at Terrace Lodge, Aylmer on Saturday, October 17, 2020 in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Leon Masschaele(1978). Loving mother of Charles Masschaele of Aylmer, David Masschaele(Deborah Hickman) of St.Thomas and the late Valerie Masschaele(2013).  Also survived by her sister Amanda Stubbe, sister-in-law Madeleine Bossuyt, nephew Mike Bossuyt(Judy) and a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Julien, Andre, Louis and Ceryl Lamote and sisters Maria Lamote, Gabrielle Lamote, Eugenie Lava and Simonne Hamers.  Born in Westkerke, Belgium on February 17, 1933, daughter of the late Jerome and Valerie (DeSmith) Lamote. Madeleine grew tobacco with her husband Leon. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, friends and family who wish to attend the visitation or funeral may call the funeral home at 519-773-8400 (Masks are required). Visitation at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Tuesday starting at 6:30 pm where the funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 21, 2020. Interment, Queen of Peace Cemetery.
