Obituary of Bishop Henry Falk

Falk, Bishop Henry of Aylmer passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Margaret (Dyck) Falk and the late Margaret (Loewen) Falk(2014). Loving father of Ellie Friesen(Aaron) of Springfield, Cornelius Falk(Justina) of St. Thomas, John Falk(Karen), Sara Teichroeb(Neil), Peter Falk(Lisa) and Eva Falk(George) all of Aylmer. He will be sadly missed by brothers Peter Falk(Sara), Frank Falk(Alma), sisters Eva Miller(Bill), Margaret Fehr(Abe), Sara Peters(Dave),  a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Susana, Anna, Lena and a brother Johan.  Born in Chihuahua, Mexico on November 19, 1938, son of the late Henry and Katharina (Voth) Falk. Henry was pastor with the Old Sommerfeld Mennonite Church, Aylmer for over 30 years.  Due to COVID-19 restrictions, friends and family who wish to attend the visitation can call the Funeral Home at 519-773-8400 (Masks are required). Visitation at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A private funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16, 2020 at 11:00 am at the EMMC Summers Corners. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
