Obituary of John DenHarder
DenHarder, John of Aylmer passed away peacefully with family by his side at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Friday, July 17, 2020 in his 79th year. Beloved husband for 56 years of Sandra (Wiebenga) DenHarder. Dear father of Robbie Magahey (Jim) of North York, Sharlene Evert(John) of Lyons and Kevin (Jena) of Belmont. Loving grandfather of James, Michael, Nicole, Matthew, Ainsley and Korbin. Brother of Marian Mantel(Pete), Marianne Noordam (Henk) and Bill DenHarder(Joanne). Brother-in-law to John Wiebenga(Pam) and Eva Wiebenga. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers-in-law Bill Wiebenga(late Trudy) and Sam Wiebenga. Born in The Hague, The Netherlands on May 1, 1942, son of the late William and Anne (Van Vliet) DenHarder. John was a reputable accountant in Aylmer and was a partner in DenHarder McNames Button, LLP which he retired from in 2007. He enjoyed spending time at their cottage in Port Bruce, travelling, fishing and playing golf. John was active in the community and a member of the Aylmer Christian Reformed Church.
