Obituary of Jean De Angelis
De Angelis, Jean of Strathmere Lodge, Strathroy passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 in her 99th year. Jean was a resident of Belmont for many years. Beloved wife of the late Arthur De Angelis(1975). Dear mother of Joe De Angelis(Janet) of London, Mary Ann Crossett(late Brian) of Aylmer, Emmett De Angelis(Susan) of Kitchener, Margaret Reardon(John) of London, John De Angelis(Janet) of Strathroy and Bob De Angelis of Belmont. Mother-in-law of Nikko De Angelis of London. Loving grandmother of Julie Ann, Joe, Megan, Justin, Paul, Melanie, Lisa, Andrea, John, Robert, Rachel, Shannon, Jeff, Shawn and Veronica. Also survived by a number of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son Paul(2003), infant daughter Betty Jean(1943), sisters Margaret Kirshin, Kathleen Wallace, Rita Gillespie and Berneida Halpin and brothers Robert Clancy, Father Bede Clancy and Dr. Patrick Clancy. Born in Wallaceburg, Ontario on November 24, 1921, daughter of the late John and Marie(Hebert) Clancy. Jean was a retired Catholic school teacher. She was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows R.C. Church, the C.W.L. and the Belmont Lioness. A private family service will be held on Monday, June 8, 2020 at 11 a.m. at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home. The service will be livestreamed on the Kebbel Funeral Home YouTube Channel. Interment, Queen of Peace Cemetery.
