Obituary of Rose Marie Lockey
Lockey, Rose Marie of Aylmer passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Saturday, May 30, 2020 in her 72nd year. Beloved wife of the late Donald Lockey. Dear mother of Jeaunitta Lockey(Mike) of London and Lily Ralf(Darrel) of London. Loving grandmother of Aaron(Crystal), Alexandra(Corey), Austin, Brook(Austin), Ashley(Dan) and T.J. Sister to Betty Pendreigh(late Bill), Gwen Owen(late Ken), Roy Hainer(Trudy), Donna Schmeltz(Randy), Velma Firby(late Pete), James Hainer(Jackie) and Archie Hainer. Predeceased by a daughter Edith Marie Lockey (1970) and a brother Donald “Hickory” Hainer. Also survived by a number of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Born at Groves End in Malahide Township on June 1, 1948, daughter of the late Ray and Alma (McKibbin) Hainer. Her greatest joy was her family and friends. Marie will be remembered for her mischievous smile and stubbornness. A funeral service will be held at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer when the COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted.
