Obituary of Helen Maciulis

Maciulis, peacefully at Chateau Gardens, Aylmer on Monday, April 3, 2006. Helen J. Maciulis of Aylmer. Beloved wife of John Maciulis. Loving mother of Edward Maciulis and wife Hedi of Dundas and Floretta Skudder and husband Jerry of R.R.#5, Aylmer. Also survived by a daughter-in-law Erica Steinke, a son-in-law Osamu Kunii, 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a son Arnold Steinke, a daughter Irene Maciulis-Kunii, brothers Herman, Adolph, Otto and Edward Albrecht and a sister Adele Neukamm. Born in Starkai, Vilkaviskis, Lithuania on May 28, 1916 daughter of the late Friedrich and Auguste (Preuss) Albrecht. Helen was an avid rose gardener and cook. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and with her husband grew tobacco at R.R.#5, Aylmer for many years. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where prayers will be held on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the St. John�s Lutheran Church, Aylmer on Thursday, April 6, 2006 at 11:00 am.
