So sorry to hear of Katie's passing. She was a wonderful neighbour and very supportive of my husband when he was undergoing treatment for cancer. We always enjoyed our porch visits in the warm weather and she always enjoyed visiting with our dog Walter. She will be missed.

Our deepest sympathies to all of the Theisssler family. Mrs. Nasswetter produced a son and 4 loving and boisterous daughters who brought fun and laughter into every room they entered. To be in the presence of Katie, Maria, Rosie and Herta was to be at a party. You have lost a matriarch. Others have lost a dear friend. Sadly, we can't be with you in your time of sorrow but please know our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Hi everyone .
My name is John vanden Akker. I am granddaughter Ashley's father in law.
I have only met "omie" on a couple of occasions at a birthday party for Maya and at the saxoniun club in Aylmer. I always thought that she was a traditionalist of her heritage and upbring. She has amazing skills in the kitchen and the sewing room. Her presense in any room commanded instant respect, and yet her heart was always front and center for all to share. Thousands of times i have heard Ashley , Maya and Claire talk about the great "omie". We were very fortunate to share this great woman during our own lives, and she will live on in our heartfelt memories.

Former neighbors of John, Katie and family.
We have fond memories of the good people that lived down the road, always willing to help out when in need. Although it’s been a long time since thought days in the Langton area, I know Katie would have touched many lives anywhere she was. Such a good natured person.

For the few years I had the pleasure of knowing her she treated me like family and welcomed me with open arms. I am so happy that she was able to attend our wedding in September (also her 80th birthday). We will cherish the memories forever. my love and hugs go out to all of the family ❤️❤️❤️
