My Grandma...I will always remember the sleepovers, the fuzzy peaches and sugar cubes, helping her in her garden, walking to Studer’s for ice cream, giving her “makeovers” (she was such a good sport), making soup noodles, family gatherings, and her chicken noodle soup. More than anything I will remember her unwavering love for God and how she fervently prayed for every person in her family everyday. She was a lady with lots of gumption, lots of will power, and lots of love. I will forever miss her but I know she’s rejoicing in Heaven.

Grandma made a purse for Naomi out of plastic bags. Naomi loves the purse and uses it to carry her stuffed animals around. She always reminds me that her purse is from Great Grandma.

When I think of Grandma, I think of faspa, family gatherings in the park, SkipBo, Dominoes, Dutch Blitz, garage sales, homemade noodle soup and perogies. I think of sleepovers with cousins and Christmas gatherings. I think of cottages, canoeing and sewing.
I think of strength of character, determination (learning to drive and email in older age) and her love of family. She was so strong for so long and now it is time for her to rest in peace. Love you forever and always, Grandma!
Love Tiff

I wish Anna Krahn’s family my deepest condolences. I will always remember my learning curve with Anna and her iPad. The first time I understood she wanted her curtains closed after supper. Then that she would like her tray put on her chair. To say I was a slow learner is an understatement. We both had a huge smile when I finally got it all right. It became easier when I noticed the additional thumbs up or thumbs down signal.

Mrs. Krahn was a sweet lady, who will sadly be missed by her Family and friends. She learned in later years how to drive, she was extremely proud of accomplishing this. I know most of the family as my sister married Jake. God bless you all and remember it’s a blessing for Anna. Rest In Peace ❤️❤️❤️

Thanks Marian, your comment is cherished indeed.
Our Mother also learned, in her later years, how to operate an iPad, which she used for communicating with friends and family through email & iMessage. She also received many, many photos of her grandchildren & great-grandchildren, family & friends.
