Obituary of Dick Stevens
Stevens, Richard George “Dick” of Belmont passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Saturday, January 4, 2020. He was 95 years old. Beloved husband of the late Lillian Olive Stevens(2018). Loving father of Bud(Shirley) of Belmont and Sharon Armitage of Woodstock. He will be missed by his grandchildren Kelly Payne(Andrew), Jennifer Pettit(Chris), Rick Stevens(Jenn), Shain Cox(Maiya) and Jamie Armitage(Veronica). Also survived by a number of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Flossie Carrel and brothers Joseph, Russell and Ken Stevens. Born in Lyons, Ontario on October 1, 1924, son of the late Alfred and Alice (George) Stevens. Dick was a plumber for most of his life and a member of the IOOF Harrietsville. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Lodge Service Monday at 6:45 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at 1 p.m. Family Interment, Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
