We are sorry for your loss. I cannot think of your father without smiling about something he had said or done during my time on the farm.

My sincere condolences to Joe's family and friends. I have only known Joe for a short time, but we had some great chats, mostly about tobacco farming, while I looked after his feet. (my Dad was a tobacco farmer). In the short time I knew him, he was a kind man who seemed to have a good sense of humour. Rest in Peace Joe.

Joe was one of my early mentors.
Way back in the seventies Joe gave me my first job in tobacco. I was his boat driver and then primer and did so for several years in a row. Thanks Joe for the opportunity and lessons in life. I contribute my work ethic to your early teachings. I always respected you and appreciated your friendship.

Uncle Joe,
From the time you hung me upside down by my ankles and dunked me in Brian’s kiddie pool when I was 10, I’ve loved coming to your farm. My Mom loved her brother and so did I and you clearly loved your sisters and brother. You are all together now and somehow that brings me peace. There are sooo many great and fun memories and you hold a very special spot in my heart ❤️. I will certainly miss your wit and supposed toughness- ha- you old softie. I love you Uncle Joe. Love Joanie
