Obituary of Ken Owen

Owen, Kenneth Murray “Buckie” of Aylmer passed away peacefully with family by his side at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Gwen (Hainer) Owen. Loving father of Lisa McLain(Ron) of Aylmer. Dear grandfather of Crystal, Kelly and R.J. and great-grandfather of Gracey, Caiden, Roland and Rose. Brother of Sandra Izawa(James) of London. Brother-in-law of Betty, Marie, Roy, Donna(Randy), Velma, James(Jackie) and Archie. Predeceased by an aunt Mildred Owen. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Born in Malahide Township on January 6, 1938, son of the late Murray and Ona (Jamieson) Owen. Ken worked at the Co-Op Elgin Feeds for 25 years and volunteered at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital for 8 years. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Friday, December 20, 2019 at 1 p.m. Cremation-burial, Aylmer Cemetery.
